The Full Story

Pediatric Chiropractic

Your child has the most amazing capacity to be the healthy. They are designed to function and develop at remarkable rates. So what happens when stresses come into this story along the way? Subluxations are born.

These are road blocks. These road blocks make it really difficult for the brain to talk to the body and body to talk to the brain. This loss function needs to be restored. We only function optimally when the communication is present.

My role in your child's care is removing these road blocks. As a chiropractor my goal is to support your child's nervous system for optimal function, the way it was always meant to.

Subluxation results in diminished communication between the brain and body. When there is a decrease in function between the two, our nervous system struggles to perceive and understand both our internal and external worlds. If we cannot predict what is about to happen, we won't feel safe or connected. This uncertainty can leave us feeling uneasy in our own skin, making us feel as though we are always on edge, which consumes a lot of energy.

Some children go from 0 to 100 because their systems are so revved up that they feel uncomfortable and disoriented in space. As a result, they often feel exhausted from trying to hold everything together all day.
In these cases, removing the subluxation (the roadblocks) becomes crucial. A strong connection between the brain and body facilitates healing, functioning, and growth, enabling us to overcome challenges.
We cannot be in survival mode and growth mode simultaneously. Growth is essential for our children, and it’s important that they can direct their energy toward it.

We are designed to be healthy. My job is to identify what’s standing in the way.

We are raising the next generation right now. All parents want their children to be strong, resilient, and able to adapt to life's stresses. We believe this happens with an optimally functioning nervous system—one free of interference, allowing the brain and body to communicate in harmony.
